Bearded Man – Fired Clay
One of a series of heads looking into masculinity and images of bearded men. This time the clay used to build the piece in the mould was from recycled, reclaimed brick clay and fired to a high 1300 C to get the lustre of the clay to the surface. There is no glazing – just pure clay and heat.
